Policy
Strike Protocol runs almost entirely on your device. We do not require an account, and your training activity stays on your phone. The only feature that sends data outside your device is the optional custom-track generation, described in section 4.
This policy explains which permissions the app uses, how data is processed locally, and how the optional beatmap generation works when you choose to use it.

2) General Principle: Local Processing
Strike Protocol is a training app (boxing, kickboxing, muay thai). With the exception of the optional generation feature described in section 4, its operation is based on local data processing: it takes place on your device, and no personal data is sent to our servers or to third parties for profiling or marketing purposes.
No account creation is required. The app does not ask for your name, email, password, or any other identifying information in order to be used.
3) Permissions Used and Their Purposes
To function, the app requires certain system permissions. Below we explain why and how they are used.

| Camera | Used for pose and movement detection during training, through real-time analysis performed entirely on the device. Camera images and frames are not saved, recorded, or transmitted to any server or third party. The video stream is processed live and immediately discarded. |
| Bluetooth | Used to connect to the compatible training device (StrikePad) and exchange the signals needed for gameplay. The Bluetooth connection does not transmit identifying personal data and is not used to track the user. |
| Location | On some Android versions, the location permission is required by the operating system as a technical prerequisite for scanning nearby Bluetooth devices. The app does not use, collect, or store your geographic location. |
| Microphone / audio | Used where necessary for audio playback and management during sessions. Audio is not recorded or transmitted. |
| Storage | Used to select an audio file for the optional generation feature and to save app content locally (for example custom tracks or beatmaps) on your device. |
4) Optional Feature: Custom Track Generation
The app offers an optional feature that lets you turn an audio file (MP3) of your choice into a playable gameplay map ("beatmap"). This is the only feature that sends data outside your device, and only when you actively start it.
What is sent
When you choose to generate a custom track, the audio file you select is uploaded to our processing service together with the chosen difficulty level. No account information, name, email, or device identifier is required or sent for this purpose.
What the service does and returns
The service analyzes the audio and returns a beatmap (a set of timing and gameplay data) that the app then saves locally on your device. The generated beatmap is what allows you to play the track in the app.
Retention on the service
We do not use the uploaded audio for profiling, advertising, or any purpose other than generating the requested beatmap. For performance reasons, the service may keep a cached copy of a generated result so that the same track does not need to be reprocessed if requested again. We do not associate uploaded files with your identity, and we do not sell or share them with third parties.

5) Training Data
The app saves your training data locally, such as scores, session duration, statistics, streaks, and progress. This data is stored in a local database on your device and is not synchronized with any cloud or server.
Only you can access this data through your device. Uninstalling the app or clearing the app's data removes this information.
6) No Tracking or Advertising
Strike Protocol does not:
- use third-party analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics) to track user behavior;
- display advertising or share data with advertising networks;
- sell or transfer personal data to third parties;
- perform user profiling.
7) Data Retention and Deletion
Because your training data and generated tracks stay on your device, you control their retention. You can delete them at any time by:
- deleting a custom track from within the app;
- clearing the app's data from your operating system settings;
- uninstalling the application, which removes the local database and saved content.
8) Third-Party Services and Stores
Downloading and installing the app takes place through the platform stores (Google Play, App Store). These platforms may process data as independent controllers under their own privacy policies, independently of how the app operates.
The app uses on-device technology components for pose detection: these operate locally and do not transmit personal data to external servers. The optional generation feature (section 4) is the only component that communicates with our processing service.
9) International Transfers
If you use the optional generation feature, the audio file you submit may be processed on servers that could be located outside your country, including outside the European Union. Where the GDPR applies, any such transfer is carried out in compliance with applicable law, including through appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses where required.
10) Your Rights (GDPR)
To the extent provided by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection regarding your personal data.
For training data and generated tracks, these rights are exercised in practice directly on the device (managing and deleting local data). For any questions, including requests related to a file submitted for generation, contact us at support@strikeprotocol.shop.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
11) Children
The app is not intended for the collection of personal data from children and does not knowingly collect personal data. If you believe information has been provided by a child in a non-compliant manner, please contact us at support@strikeprotocol.shop.
12) Security
We adopt reasonable technical measures for the proper operation of the app and the generation service. Because your training data is stored locally, its protection also depends on your device's security measures (screen lock, device encryption, operating system updates). We recommend keeping your device protected and up to date.
13) Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect technical, functional, or legal changes. The current version is published on this page together with the date of the latest update.
